Secondary glazing

There are a number of secondary glazing systems for windows which are designed to be unobtrusive
whilst reducing heat loss from buildings; they also help stop the entry of noise and dirt. The Conservation Shutter Company (pictured) has combined the idea of traditional solid wood shutters and secondary glazing by creating a glazed shutter system. With an ultra-thin, lightweight metal framework, the Slimline system from Storm Windows is custom made and is held in place by a hidden magnet system around the edges while the frames can be powder coated to match internal colour schemes. A variety of other easy to install lightweight secondary glazing options are available, for further information visit my blog on secondary glazing.
